My name is Carmen, I'm a 25 year-old Graphic Designer and life enthusiast, and I'm currently living in Buenos Aires, Argentina (but I'm originally from Caracas, Venezuela).

I love to cook and one of my favourite things of traveling is discovering new flavours and dishes. I also enjoy art and cultural spaces (museums, galleries, concerts, libraries and such), and I read a lot - I studied Literature and I write sometimes).

I'm always open to learn. A new language, a new craft, a new way to see the world around me: to be able to know and learn what the world has to offer is really valuable, and I think that's what travelling is all about.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing since 2011 because I've always been delighted that such a beautiful community exists: A place where you can meet people from all around the world and open your doors to them it's like magic. Because of different reasons (mainly because I moved out from my country and because I currently study and work full time), I've never been able to use the platform at its full extent, but the stories of my friends that have used it are amazing.

And it's never a bad moment to start. Right?

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I really enjoy classics and poetry. My favourite poet is Anna Akhmatova, and my favourite writer is Oscar Wilde.
I enjoy variety in music, I like music that makes me feel good. That opens a lot my musical taste, making me like from waltzes and classic music, to electronic tango, indie, classical rock and pop. However, The Beatles make my world move in more beautiful ways than any other group or artist.
