After a successful debut in Berlin, Landscape Film Festival arrives to Barcelona to pay cinematic tribute to the city. Landscape aims to bring Barcelona’s citizens together with a common goal: to tell stories about the city through its inhabitants in the shape of short films.
The concept of Landscape is revolutionary. A collaborative film Festival where the participants can learn while they extend their knowledge, widen their contacts network, share talent and experiences and create stories of their city.
The open spirit of Landscape facilitates cooperation between professional and amateur filmmakers: strangers working together to show their favorite face of the city.
Landscape will happen from the 11th to the 30th of April. The main characters of this edition will be:
100 filmmakers: From all over the world based in Barcelona formed into
10 teams, covering 10 districts: Each team will be assigned a district where the majority of their story must take place. Each short will be 6 to 9 minutes long and will be shot and edited over two weeks during the Festival.
1 city: Barcelona in all forms will be the absolute protagonist in all of the short films.
The day of the première, 30th of April, important personalities from the film industry will give their verdict on the shorts and the winners will receive their awards.
A unique opportunity for filmmakers and film lovers to enjoy creating their own stories. A unique opportunity to meet Barcelona.
