A few years ago I travelled solo for ten months through Europe. I worked at a retreat centre in Scotland, explored France, lived for a few months with a friend in Switzerland, and then spent a few months at a monastery in Greece before making a pit stop in Germany on the way back home to Canada.

Ever since then I’ve been wanting to do more travelling. I was very intrigued by so many aspects of Greek culture and would like to do more traveling in the Mediterranean and the Balkans.

In these last few years I’ve been re-assessing whether Vancouver is really the place I’d like to continue to call home. The travel bug is biting again . . . 😉

I love connecting with fellow travellers. The “openness” of attitudes and interests that you so often find in travellers makes for some great conversations and explorations.

I’m unable to host at the moment, but I love being able to show people around this city of mine that I’ve known for so long.
