I retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of honorable service. My favorite part during that time was traveling around the world and meeting new people. Upon my retirement I attended University of Phoenix to complete my MBA, which I completed in, April of 2017. I am currently in a transition phase until I find my next job, but until that happens, I plan to do some traveling. I was a military photojournalist in the Navy, so I enjoy everything that has to do with photography and video documentation. My las assignment was as a videographer for President Obama, so I got to travel many places documenting his activities all over the U.S. and many countries around the world. I love riding my motorcycle and often take road trips to visit friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a videographer I love documenting many of my daily activities, some of which include cooking, working on rehab projects and documenting many of my trips. Because of the transition phase I am in, I have all the time in the world, so I am trying to take advantage of this rare opportunity to do some traveling, before I find myself back in a regular work routine.

I'm a sponge when it comes to learning from others on things of interest, as a photojournalist, my job was to tell stories, so I am good at listening, but in the same way I enjoy sharing any knowledge where a may be considered a subject matter expert this may include photography, layout and design, video production or simply discussing issues where I might know a little more than others.
