About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning about different cultures, meeting new people and making friends!

ABOUT ME

I'm easy going, open minded, quiet and loud. I'm responsible, I love what I do, I laugh a lot (maybe too much), sometimes I'm lazy and shy... I spend a lot of time thinking and dreaming and the most valueable things for me are my family and friends and the amazing moments I have with them, usually the simplest ones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to learn more about different cultures and meet new people... I can show my hometown and help people here with my culture, my language... In the future I'd like to travel as well, I'm currently saving the funds for that (:

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just the Language Meeting in Curitiba for now...

Interests

I'm majoring in Portuguese and English and learning French for fun.
I love to learn about languages or learn new ones...
I really like cinema, dance, music, literature... That's pretty much how I spend my time besides working and studying... If I could, I'd spend it travellig around the world, that's my biggest dream at the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love musicals, European cinema, animations... Some examples are Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain; Goodbye Lenin; La source des femmes; Swing Time, Chicago...
About music, I'm a big fan of R&B, acid jazz, soul, jazz, blues, some Brazilian Popular and Alternative Music and classic rock. Some of my favorites are The Brand New Heavies, Jill Scott, Beyoncé, Tribalistas, Seu Jorge, Yann Tiersen, Etta James, Next...
And now books... My favorite author is Monteiro Lobato. I also love "Lolita", by Nabokov and "O Auto da Compadecida", by Suassuna...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did internships as a teacher for illiterate adults, for children and also as a story teller at a children's hospital.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about my culture and my language and I would love to learn about yours as well...
