I love the idea of making friends out of total strangers. I've always believed that we share a lot of similarities despite our physical and cultural differences.

I love to read and teach young ones how to read. I also love to reflect on my experiences and put my thoughts on paper. I love to eat despite my meager skills in the kitchen.

I am an old soul and my taste in music reflects this. I enjoy the music of Ella Fitzgerald and Louie Armstrong. I adore The Beatles and John Denver. I also enjoy the standards, Beethoven, and Original Pilipino Music.

With books, some of my favorites are To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, The Color Purple by Alice Walker, The Little Prince by Exupery,The Missing Piece by Shel Silverstein, and all the books of Robert Fulghum I have read so far.

Organized a Home for the Holidays campaign where people without company for Christmas are accommodated by people who have room for one more. Inspired by a program by Humans of New York.
