We're Clint and Caro from the Netherlands. We have been together for almost 11 years and are currently on a world trip since October 2023. We started in South America where we bought a van and traveled for 10 months. After that, we took a flight to Japan to start further exploring Asia. We love the mountains and often go on hikes. It's not only nature that we like, we think that variety is key. We love nice cities with good restaurants, are a fan of Modern Art Museums and interested in languages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For most of this trip we've slept in our van or hostels/guest houses. We would like to meet more local people and therefore try out Couch Surfing as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

We both like reggaeton and bachata. Clint also likes electronic, while Caro listens to pop music. According to reading, we both like to read biographies and educational books. Caro also likes to read historical novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing the Huayna Potosí in Bolivia. This peak is situated at 6088 meter and is definitely one of the thoughest things we did, but the views were amazing!
