ABOUT ME

Hello there, I'm Carolina :)
Where to start to tell you something about me?!
I'm 21 years old and I'm actually living in a lovely city called Marburg in the centre of Germany, but I come from the most beautiful city in the north of Germany, HAMBURG!
So I really love wind and water (also rain) as we do have a lot of it in Hamburg! But I also enjoy warm and sunny weather.
For two years now I'm studying english and history in Marburg to become a teacher.
What else can I say? My friends are a really important part of my life. I love to meet them for a coffee or ice-cream, to cook together, to go out, especially in the summer to sit next to the river and barbecue and laugh and talk, to visit new citys, to go to concerts,...
I'm really into all sorts of movies, maybe because I can see them all for free since I'm working in a cinema :D
I think you could say that I'm really fond of children and animals. I've been an aupair in Ireland for a year where I've minded three boys and I absolutely adore dogs, especially labradors since I grew up with a lovely black labrador.

PHILOSOPHY

I actually think that this is a really hard question and I think that I didn't find my answer yet. I just think laughing and always trying to look at all the good and happy things that happen to us all day long and to share as many moments as possible with the people you love is very important.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately I couldn't make that many couchsurfing experiences yet but I hope that this is going to change soon :)
Once my mother, my sister and I stayed with a woman and her daughter in Nice, France. They were very nice people and we just had a great week, since they showed us around, we cooked together and kept talking for ages.

Interests

I grew up with the direct access to two oceans so I'm really into all the things you can do in the water like swimming, surfing, diving,.. I'm also a lifeguard and I'm working on my licence to become a swimming instructor.
So I'm a pretty active person and love to do sports and be outside, but I also enjoy evenings at home with friends, maybe watching a movie or just chat or read a book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been an aupair in Ireland for a year where I've minded the best three boys in the whole world :)I had the best year of my life over there in the country of leprechauns and I would never want to miss any of the experiences I've made.
