finding a unicorn
People generally describe me as outgoing, talk-active,sociable, risk-taking, adventurous, straight-forward, honest, self-concious and ambitious person.
While all of these character traits are true, there are also other less obvious sides to me. Those sides that love to write or listen to poetry, that read books cover to cover without blinking, those sides that like to travel alone, enjoying the company of my own self in the middle of nature.

Even if you run in circles, at least you are going somewhere. [personal philosophy of someone that can never sit still. haha]
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Having started CS in 2008, I often feel like one of the oldies on CS.
Hosting, surfing, travelling, organizing events, giving and receiving infos about countries soon to travel... I pretty much participate in every single possible way.
It comes and goes in waves though - at times I will be very active and at others not at all.
What I love most about CS is that it adapts to your personal life. Whether you are on a backpacking or a business trip, whether you are out of money or tired of the same old hotels, whether you look to party it up in NYC or wheather you seek the quiet of a mountain hike...you will always find someone who is looking for the exact same thing.
- sports (outdoors, indoors, team sports, individual sports... all kinds... none professional, all on an amateuer level)
- nature / outdoor activities (e.g. canoeing, going to a lake, hiking)
- dinner and drinks, BBQ, hanging out with friends
Music, Movies, and Books
The Little Prince. The Alchemist. [Because the books let me believe that even the most pragmatic/efficient person like me can and needs to be a dreamer ever now and then.]
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So so so many things... as small excerpt:
- I built my own igloo in the Swiss Alps and slept in it for two days with other couchsurfers
- snorkeling and diving in Bali, Egypt, Mauritius, Thailand, Belize, Mexico, Croatia, Reunion Island and Sri Lanka
- a roadtrip through Eypt right after the revolution
- bungeejumping in South Africa
- Riding on a scooter around in South Africa and Asia
- safari in Africa
- seeing active volcanoes in Guatamala and Indonesia

I can help you get settled in if you are moving to Germany. I can support you to find German classes, understand what all you need to do (which offices you need to go to and which documents you need). If you are in the Stuttgart area, I can organize a free city tour for you and show you my favorite places. I can also accompany you to the city office and help you translate.
If you are in the Stuttgart area and need motivation to go running, I can be your running buddy.
If you are in Stuttgart and you love dancing salsa, take me out and teach me some more steps! I love daning salsa, but I am not very advanced yet. Always happy to learn a new step!
Notice: I am truely routed in CS culture. CS is a non-commercial community (because the best things in life are for free!).
