I am a photographer so am always looking at light and how it plays off things. I notice small details and celebrate them. As a gardener I can't seem to keep my hands out of the dirt and will never be a hand model. I love the taste of a homegrown tomato in season. I am privileged to be able to travel and live in this great big, crazy world and want to see as much of it as possible.

-Climbing to the top of one of the largest holes in the earth in Mexico before the sun was up and then watching hundreds of thousands swallows fly out at daybreak.

-Landing in the middle of nowhere Texas only to find the hotel and campground had both closed down and being offered a room in a complete strangers and to help the family bake cookies for a quinceria.

-Seeing a one day old grey whale calf eye to eye as it surfaced beside my boat with it's mother.
