it's tough being alone in foreign countries (i dont like tourist traps) and I dont drink nor go to club so it's nice to stay with a host who can tell me more about their country/culture in the evening, show me the local way of life/the places that no tourists know :) When i have a host I feel like visiting a friend and i'm not scared of traveling by myself. Houston got flooded every year due to hurricane (peak in August and Sept). My trip to Eastern Europe of Sept 2017 was cancelled due to Harvey flood. This website requires me to pay to be verified (and to contact other members). That's suck. Please do not go to Houston from June to Sept. It's too hot to be outdoor :) Fine Art museum is free on Thursday evening. Kemah is good but too far from my place in SW of Houston. Check out Galveston Sand Castle competition. Herman park is very nice in spring, NASA is overrated.
