Overview
About Me
A pensive realist who's still shaping (figuring out) their adulthood. I'm a genderqueer pansexual relationship anarchist and use they/them pronouns. Moved out of the city center 2 years ago and enjoy the calmer surroundings of my home in Cologne-Ostheim a lot, where I share a house and garden with five others (and a dog). Nerdy, pacifistic, queer feministic, animal and music loving, clumsy thingy. Constantly trying to improve my lifestyle – consuming less and better, e.g. (food)sharing, buying more local, fairtrade, biological, vegan, zero waste or second hand products and food.
Passionate caregiver. Dreaming of founding a place with other socially-engaged people with an interest in gastronomy. Combining a café, a pub with hot food and a space for concerts/art/workshops. With payment based on voluntary donations (pay what you want/can). Having socially disadvantaged people among the co-workers and guest. Plan B would be some sort of service to create and assist inclusive flat/house-sharing communities. Also would love to adopt/co-parent a child with a disability somewhen in the future.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Sometimes I'm looking for a place to sleep, when I'm traveling to events in Germany/the Netherlands/Belgium or just need to get out of my daily life for a short while (mostly hiking).

In love with music of different kinds. Especially 60th/70th, Stoner, Hard, Psychedelic and Blues Rock, but also listening to a broad range of punk and pop.
Series: What We Do In The Shadows, Fleabag and The Owl House
Books: Star Wars - The High Republic, the german novel Buntschatten und Fledermäuse (from the viewpoint of an autistic person), In the Dream House, Momo and The Bandit Queens. But mostly reading nonfiction.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love nature, so I would love to go hiking together!
I can show you some nice restaurants, alternative markets and "nightlife" locations in (some parts of) Cologne, but I'm not that familiar with popular places/history etc. But if you're planning to do a little sight seeing tour – I'd love to join, so I can enlarge my knowledge! ;)
Of course I'll help you with the German language, if it's necessary! Also I'm trying to improve my English and learn sign language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love grocery shopping and (vegan) cooking for people who host me. I'm a fan of all sorts of cards/board/communication games!
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Scotland
