ABOUT ME

I am Enthusiastic, passionate, and curious to explore people, places and ways to express compassion. I connect through movement: dance, yoga, and eating with people. It's not just any food. It's the slooooow food-local harvested and nearly naked food. I'm learning more deeply how to appreciate mother earth and my body.

My home is my body and my neighbor is whoever I am currently sharing presence. Now that there's over 6 billion people on the planet, my dharma is learning how to give up space peacefully. To learn this, I'm traveling light-2 backpacks and a bicycle with a small car...sharing my passion to be alive.

I brought Ecstatic Dance to Austin in '94 as my spiritual practice-giving up space on the dance floor - discovering the empty spaces between heart beats and breath. My version of Ecstatic Dance is Non-verbal. So practicing it for 18+ years, I've developed a Keen Sense of Body Language. I helped spread ecstatic dance to Sante Fe, Ashland, Hawaii, Seattle...all community owned and operated.

I'm an author, love to literally eat my words, 'cause I know I am literally digesting conversation.
I'm a crayon artist and made my own Tarot deck that If you desire- I will 'read' your Tarot honoring intuition and wisdom.

PHILOSOPHY

Laugh. Deep Belly Laugh. stretch-reach for the sky. reach for my ideals. eat my words and thoughts. be as transparent as I can.

recycle, reduce-re-use as much as possible.
live as simply as I can and even a little bit more strrretch of my comfort zone.

I love clean air and clean water and empty spaces....ahhhh some!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I grew up changing families every two years---as an orphan, foster child, run-a-way teen...My favorite 'home life' was as an adult Sunflower Cooperative in Austin Texas-for 8 glorious years.
I teach what I want to learn. I like the path of least resistance,
except when dancing-I can be pretty rowdy.

Laughter makes the world go 'round-Especially with homemade chocolate chip cookies!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Whoa, well as a run-away teenager I did a lot of hitchhiking. Basically homeless in the mid 70's...I surfed couches and renovated school busses.

Interesses

Spontaneous Outbursts of Playful Energy.
Laughing. I see cartoons in my mind and wish I could draw them. Anything Outside. Simple things like observing the world through child's eyes...
PICNICS are my Favorite! kite flying, hula hooping, frizbee. and playing with food. I call it ForePlay with my food-eating with my fingers and creating edible art.

Probably the best thing ever was to be at a human birth. His name is Simon and he actually looked at everyone in the room when he came into the world! He taught me that He made the choice to be born!

Second thing: watching a butterfly, that just became a butterfly, it's wings were wet, so it hung around me for nearly an hour... while I was gardening. I could actually feel the freshness of life, the slightest shift of air on my skin. OOOOOOH! Exhillirating!
