ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Carole, and I have a Bachelor's degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. I was born in Paris, France, and I'm half Sri Lankan and half Italian. I don't have a "hometown" as my childhood was scattered around different continents, although I now feel Canadian at heart! I've lived in Nigeria (4 years), Scotland (4 years), Angola (2 years), France (2 years), USA (1 year), New Zealand (6 months), and Canada (the rest). This experience has left my with a genuine appetite for international relationships, and I love meeting new people and learning about "different" cultures !

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in the amazing capabilities and skills that every person on earth can contribute to create a beautiful, shared, efficient space! I think that there exist wonderful possibilities for our social realities if we didn't feel so constrained by conventional lifestyles/ideologies. I'm always learning and excited to discover different perspectives!

I've had the privilege of couch surfing in France, Canada, and the USA. I loved it and am grateful to be a part of this community!

Interests

I love dancing. My mom says I was dancing before I was walking. My other passions include traveling; exploring new spaces, experiencing different types of world cuisine; food, tons of reading, etc..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once stumbled upon a free Lady Gaga concert in the middle of Ancient Roman ruins and saw the Pope speak all in one day in Rome. crazy day. All unplanned!
