I am an active, friendly and easy-going person with a good sense of humour. While travelling I like to go outdoors, explore nature, learn about other cultures and traditions as well as sharing my own background.

My best travel experiences over the last few years have been those moments where I met local people who could tell me more about their cultures and traditions, local food and show me some beautiful places of the area where they live. I believe that you can see the best elements of a country if you can stay at local hosts.

兴趣

folk music, geography, gardening, outdoors, cultures, environment, hiking, camping. In the Netherlands I used to play badminton, cycle on my racing bike, skating, and spend many hours in the kitchen cooking and baking. I used to play the cello and now learning to play the harmonica.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

While travelling through Vietnam I did an easy rider tour over the Ho Chi Minh Trail. It was the best decision I made during this trip. Being on the back of a motorbike, riding through remote places, beautiful nature and most of all: a lovely guide who could tell me a lot about the history of Vietnam and the area.
Other great experiences have been swimming in the Arctic ocean and walking on a glacier in Norway.
