Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was a night at Vienna. I stayed at a host's place together with a friend and I loved it. I met a lot of surfers because of my nomad-like brother and had a wonderful experience in Lisbon.

I like the way the people of this community care about each other, although they might not know the person searching for a place, adventure or sb. to chat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After I had finished school I didn't know what to do. I was not in the mood for studying or anything. So my best friend, who felt the same, and me decided to apply for a housekeeping job in London and just flew over. We spent half a year cleaning rooms, lived almost directly in Notting Hill and got to know a lot of wonderful people from all over the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I have a musician's heart I love to jam. I sing, play the piano and also the guitar ... well, the latter poorly ... but I can teach you ... I love basically everything that has to do with music.

I love good, fair and never ending conversations. I especially love discussions about philosophy, spirituality, feminism & queerness.

My parents are gardeners and I have it in my blood: I know a lot about plants and how to keep them alive. And I know a lot about vegetables and flowers. Since this is a thing I have experienced for many years, I am always eager to learn sth. new or share my knowledge.

But if you want, I can also cook you a typical German dish and I will definitely try to convince you to come to Leipzig. And, of course, I am always happy to teach you some German.
