ABOUT ME

Hi! I am a student at University of North Carolina Asheville. I was born and raised in Costa Rica as part of a multiracial family so I have both American and Latino cultural influence. I am passionate about environmental and social activism and love learning about these issues though my travels. I also love spending time outdoors, hiking, gardening, swimming, anything! I'm pretty easy going and looking forward to meeting people of all backgrounds!

Hola! Soy una estudiante en la Universidad de Carolina del Norte en Asheville. Nací y crecí en Costa Rica siendo parte de una familia multiracial entonces tengo influencia estadunidense y latina. He dedicado mi vida al activismo ambiental, social, y animal. Me encanta pasar tiempo en la naturaleza! Soy buena onda, quiero conocer a gente de todas culturas!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting fellow nomads and travelers but I'm also very passionate about making travel affordable and accessible. Asheville has blown up as a tourist destination, resulting in huge hotels being constructed and these hotels represent everything I hate about tourism: elitist, pushing up real estate values, gentrification, bla bla bla. I want to offer people an affordable and genuine place to stay.
