Overview
About Me
Hello,
I'm a 33-year-old Brazilian girl, who loves books, series and long talks. I live in Birigui, which is a small countryside town about 6 hours from Sao Paulo Capital. Right now, I'm getting to know myself better, I mean, the purpose of my life, the things I really love and care, who I am as a person and which path I should take to be happier. It's a long journey, filled with certains that might change overnight, filled with light, hope and dreams I pray hard to come true. I love traveling and meeting new people, getting to know their story, what we might have in common or not and that's how I learn. I'm the kind of person who watches Discovery and its programs about other people's lives, cultures and routine and it makes me want to go and live that too! I picture myself eating what they're having, walking through the streets they're showing.
Besides, I'm really talkative, organized and open-minded.
I'm so ready for my next adventure and hope you can be part of it! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I intend to travel the world and meet as many people as I can. This way, I'll be able to get to know about people's culture, cuisine and language more deeply, in a more realistic way, which would make me a much happier person.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music? I listen to pretty much anything, from Bach to Rihanna, but I don't like Brazilian country, nor funk.
Movies? The Green Mile, The Perfum, The Danish Girl, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, cartoons.
Books? Harry Potter, Stephanie Plum's Adventures, À beira do rio Pietra eu sentei e chorei, O reverso da medalha,The Help, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Besides traveling, the most amazing thing I've ever done was teaching someone English from scratch. Watching a person who didn't even know what "What's your name?" means to seeing him/her speak fluently was amazing and inspiring.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English and Portuguese, I would like to learn about one's culture, cuisine and language. I would love to share my story, my lifestyle and some light. More importantly, I would be able to share everything I learn back with my students, they would love it!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a little bit of my Brazilian culture with my hosts, as well as a simple, but delicious Brazilian dinner I'd cook myself. Occasion in which we could talk about our differences and similarities, culture, listen to Tom Jobin and Elis and last, but not least, savor some rice, beans, steak and salad - while you sip a lime caipirinha (I don't drink, but I can sure make you one) :)
