我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am traveling in Sweden and other European countries this summer to get to know my extended family better and to explore. I was born in Sweden, and I have lived in the US continuously since age 4. My father is Estonian/German, and my mother is Montenegrin. I have spent the last 10 years in the San Francisco bay area (SF, Berkeley, Oakland) being a student, working in construction as a carpenter, exploring life, and most recently, working and living at farms near Santa Cruz, a town that is about an hour south of the SF bay area.

I love being outside and exploring new places. Hiking, sailing, working on farms, and doing carpentry and building are all things I enjoy. I have lived in co-ops for at least 6 years of my life; I am interested in cooperative living and living in communities. I love meeting new people. I like interacting with people of various ages and with various interests and life experiences. I would like to learn how to windsurf, how to surf, and how to drive a manual transmission car. I am also learning to play the guitar and piano. I would love to visit Spain, Greece, and other warm Mediterranean countries. I would also love to visit Africa, the Middle East, the Caucasus region, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
