ABOUT ME

I'm a Brazilian-American English teacher living in Istanbul. I was a geographer in my former life, so I love learning about the places I visit. I'm more into observing people's day-to-day life than I am into nightlife, although I do enjoy the occasional glass of wine. I'm very responsible and loyal, but I also have a (silly) sense of humor. I'm extremely respectful of people's homes.

兴趣

I'm a native speaker of both English and Portuguese, and I can get by in Spanish. I'm currently trying to learn Turkish, but it's been a very humbling experience... At home I do yoga every morning, or at least I try to :) I love dancing to Latin rhythms - samba, salsa, merengue, and so on. I also love reading, hiking, and just walking around the stunning place that Istanbul is.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I saw the Grand Canyon for the first time, the beauty of it hit me so hard I though I was going to fall backwards. I was also in awe at every site I visited in Mexico - Teotihuacan, Palenque, Uxmal, Chichen Itza. Rio and Istanbul never cease to amaze me.
