Newly married and will be traveling for a bit with my husband to go skiing, do ministry work, learn about sustainability projects like farming. Reason why we are doing all of this? I went to Uganda for a ministry trip Nov 2016 and my experiences from there turned impacted me so much. Our perspective about money, possessions, goals and purpose changed dramatically. Now we want to live for the Lord, go where he leads us and meet cool and unique people along on the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We will be traveling in our camper van and need a place to park our home for the night, plug in, shower, use the kitchen etc. We may need to stay indoors depending on the outside temperature.

Really love Bethel Music and Jesus Culture now. Their music is unbelievable intimate and speaks so deeply into my soul.

I love action films especially Chinese Martial Arts film like Ip Man, military films like Blackhawk Down, documentaries about the world from the healing power of the Holy Spirit to sustainability issues like Years of Living Dangerously.

Currently not reading as much. But I am learning how to play the Ukulele.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've built cabinets and a lounge chair at woodworking classes which helped my husband and I build our camper van out of a Chevy E3500 van which we named Beluga. Our home has a raised roof, platform bed, refrigerator, working sink and a portable toilet. Sometimes when we visit friends I still prefer to sleep in our van rather than their guest room - our bed is just so comfortable! Feel free to follow us out Instagram account @TravelingBeluga

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to fix things and organize messes. During our travel we have reorganized garages, helped people move across states, fixed sinks, set up Air BnB, cooked, cleaned 2 years worth of mess, prayed and counseled etc. We believe that the Lord leads us to certain people for specific reasons and we look forward to what the Lord has us do for Him.
