Hi! I've been living in Portland, OR for just under 2 years. I recently started working remotely for a software company and am planning some summer travels while I'm in between leases. I love spending my time in the outdoors (backpacking, hiking, skiing, anything water related) and also dabble in the city life.

I am open to hosting occasional guests once I am permanently located in Portland again which will likely be in the fall.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My current lease came to a sudden end and I foudn myself with a gap between the end of my lease and the start of my next one. I work remotely and decided to take advantage of the unideal situation by spending my summer traveling. I was introduced to the platform by a friend several years ago while studying abroad in New Zealand and think it's a wonderful way to connect to likeminded people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did not have the chance to travel while growing up but always gravitated towards the idea. I had the first opportunity to travel during a college where I chose to study abroad in New Zealand (it was my first time on an airplane). I found myself wanting to make up for the lost time and ended up doing a 5 month solo travel through SE Asia.
