I'm born in England, Gloucestershire, and I lived there for 2 years, and there my brother also was born. Then my family and I moved to India, and then after 2 years, we moved to Malaysia, and stayed there for 7 years. We moved back to Denmark, and now I've lived here ever since. I love experiencing different cultures, and that has definitely made me an open minded person and easy going towards new people.

I love deep conversations about our existence on this mysterious earth, religion, politics and music. I like to talk about everything. I like to call myself a hippie recently had a friend lock my hair up, so I eventually one day can get proper dreadlocks. I love piercings, tattoos, odd mixtures of clothing, patterns and symbols.

I will hopefully pass the IB this May in Denmark, and then I want to take a gap year, where I can work and travel, hopefully both at the same time. I've stayed at a boarding school during my time taking the IB, because I've always had a little dream for living at a boarding school. I've had the best two years of my life; I've met so many great and interesting people, from different nationalities, cultures and backgrounds. I feel very blessed to have met them all.

Family means a lot to me, especially my mom and dad. We are all very close, both cousins, uncles, aunts and grandparents and of course me and my brother. We've experienced so much, and hopefully we'll experience much more.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love to meet and interact with new and interesting people. I think that CS is the place to start, and a great way to get to know locals from the area, or at least people who know where to go. I am a very social person, and I'll miss not being at a boarding school, because you really get to know the other people, and you almost get under their skin. I like that. I like being so close to people. That sort of makes me sound weird, but I swear I'm not! I just like to bond and talk and banter.

Intereses

I'm a girl with a passion for travelling, and meeting new people and gaining new experiences. I love to travel the world, and have traveled ever since I was little. I'm a very social person, so I love to be surrounded by people. But I have my introvert moments, and then I'd just like to watch a movie/series or read a book by myself. I can do so with people around me, but then I just need to be left alone.

I don't have many hobbies at the moment, because IB takes up most of my time. When I was younger, I was very fond of horse-back riding and drama. I've done horse-back riding for 4 years, and I will some day go back to riding. I love animals, hence my interest towards riding.
I like to draw and paint, but I don't do it enough. I also love to read a good book. Preferably something by Marian Keyes, so chick-lits. I've recently read "The Curious Incident about the Dog in the Night-time", and I really enjoyed it. Otherwise I love non-fiction like biographies like "My Steve" and "Marley and Me". I love to watch a good movie and series, and by good, I mean something that makes you think about your life on earth. Something that reminds you that you're not here forever, and that you do what you want, but also help other people; spread love, karma and light. I also really enjoy going to the theaters, visiting museums and just generally cultural experiences. My parents have always taken me and my brother to such places, to broaden our historical knowledge, and also to learn something about the country we were visiting. I enjoy travelling far away, but I also enjoy small shelter-trips to the country side with a friend or two, where we have to sleep in our sleeping bags, and walk a lot and enjoy the nature.
My biggest interest is probably food. I don't make much myself, but I love to eat lots of different kinds of food; spicy, sweet, sour, bitter. Anything! And I am definitely not picky. I love Asian, but European food is also very appealing.

My mother has always tried to teach me that I should believe in myself, and believe that I can do whatever I want to, and most importantly, that I should love myself.

I hope to learn some more German, cooking-skills and just anything. I want to learn how to play the ukele.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I love to talk about religion. My mother is slightly religious, and I have of course adapted to it. She's also quite spiritual, so I always like to listen and talk about it.

I also like to listen to people talk about anything. Is your friend annoying you? I'll be your listening ear. I dream of becoming a psychologist, but I'm not sure whether I should.

I have dreadlocks, and have tried making them on myself, and a single one on my friend. I can maybe help you too?
