Overview
About Me
I like plants and I can't help but notice them or stare at them all the time. I was probably a plant in my last life. (They're so evolved by the way!!!) I have the travel bug constantly and no medicine will get rid of it except for new experiences. I love drinking coffee and sitting still, especially with my cat Stuart who is the best and most beautiful animal. I'm a vegetarian/designer/confused 27 year old who is looking for meaning and then shooting it down just like everyone else. And I like meeting new people even though 80% of the time I experience some type of anxiety. The experience greatly outweighs the symptoms. Let me talk about stuff with you and maybe we'll both learn something in the process. There's nothing like genuine human connection. <3
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At the moment, I am interested in couchsurfing for my upcoming trip to Iceland; however I'd love to host in our home in Richmond, VA, and hang out and have adventures around the city.

Music, Movies, and Books
I feel so vulnerable when asked these questions, because I feel like its automatic for judgement and classification. And its scary baring your soul in this manner.
Buuuut since you asked...
Books: I like Harry Potter (duh), anything by Steinbeck, Emerson, and all sorts of cool science/historical biographies or narratives, and anything that makes me have evening anxiety attacks because it pushes me out of my comfort zone and makes my brain create new neuronal pathways that feel funny at first. (Usually is something metaphysical, psychological, neurological, quantum based, spiritual, etc. you get the point)
Music: Little Dragon is my favorite band, also Alt-J. Both bring me happiness at the moment. Countless others, but who has time for all that?
Movies: Just get a probe to invade my brain so you can see all my favorite movie choices, sound good? By the way, I think all movies are amazing, even the stupid ones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Italy with a broken right foot, on crutches, hiking up medieval hillside villages, sweating out profusely the wine I'd had the night before, and having brain orgasms over all the art I was constantly seeing.
Teach, Learn, Share
All three of these things are good, sorry, not sure I understand what I'm supposed to write here. We all teach each other all the time, we're constantly learning whether we're aware of it or not, and if we don't share we're all gonna die miserable deaths.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can tell you about gardening and plants, vegetarianism, share a comfy and homey place to chill, provide a tour of some of the best breweries/galleries/nature around, in Richmond or anywhere, and as far as anything else I can either make up a really good bullshit answer or get you to answer it yourself by asking you lots of questions.
