Hi I'm Caroline, I'm 22 years old and originally from Luxembourg. I studied Psychology in Amsterdam and did an exchange semester in Mexico. From there, I started my travels around Latin America and am now back in Mexico aftera year! My passions are obviously traveling and Psychology, but I also love art, food and cooking, music, singing, and dancing, and in general learning new things. Since I currently don't have a real home, since I am traveling and not living with my parents anymore, I cannot offer a couch in return yet, but once I am settled somewhere I'll welcome anyone gladly!

I think the best way to discover a new country and its culture is by meeting locals, which is why I believe couch surfing is a perfect way to do so. Also since I've been traveling for quite a while, I've got a limited budget, which is why Couchsurfing also presents an amazing alternative to hostels.

音乐、电影和书籍

My favourite music really depends on my mood, when going out I love techno and electronic music, when by myself I love some good RnB but I'm also really into slow, emotional music that breaks my heart in two. A bit same for movies, I love all kinds, but I think my all time favourites are "Love, Rosie", "Interstellar", and a French movie called "les Choristes". For books I am obsessed with Tayler Jenkins Reid's books, such as "the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo" or "Daisy Jones and the Six".

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My first solo travel was to Costa Rica, when I was 19, which was one of the best experiences of my life. I think it took me so much out of my comfort zone but therefore also rewarded me with amazing experiences and friendships. It also really made me want to travel more by myself, which is why I think it was one of the best decisions I ever took.

Since I speak 5 languages (Luxembourgish included), I can teach some basics to anyone who likes:) I would also love to learn new languages and improve my Spanish so a language exchange would be amazing. As said I also love to cook so I can share some of my skills, but would also love to learn new ones, like traditional cuisine of the different countries. In general I think traveling and meeting people from other cultures is so interesting and enriching and we can all share and learn from each other a whole lot.

As previously said, I can share language, cooking, and in general nice conversations. I am respectful of people's homes and belongings and will keep everything clean. If you want to join me for whichever experience you're always welcome to, but I also respect if we just want to keep it to friendly conversations when at home.
