After living in the US as an aupair for 1.5 years and while really enjoying the experience of being on my own for so long for the first time in my life, living with a hostfamily, getting to know their culture and daily life and travelling a country I haven't travelled before the whole experience left me hungry for more. Aupairing was great to get a taste of travelling by yourself but you're still pretty dependant on others and now that I'm back home I really want to do some more travelling by myself, leave my comfort zone and try and see as many different things as possible before I get old and wrinkly haha.
I think Couchsurfing is a great beginning to make this wish come true, so let me know if you want to hang out or have any recommendations!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Locals always know the best places to go and while it always takes me hours to do the research a half hour talk with some local guy can give you much more ideas about the best coffee in town, art galleries, museums or parties than any week of research and it's way more pleasant too. I'm always open to recommendations!!!!

If my future hosts are open to it I would to spend some time with them and to explore the places they like together. I know CS is all about sharing experience so please share yours with me!

Well, and I guess money plays a role too. Haven't won the lottery (yet) so my travelbudgets are usually tight.

I like cooking and baking, not the super fancy way, but the easy and healthy one--I'm always happy to cook together!
