I grew up in Remscheid which is near Cologne, Germany. I went to school most of my life and after I graduated in July 2016 I decided that I need a break from studying and became an au pair in California. Since I love working with kids and travelling it's been one of the best years of my life so far!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I see Couchsurfing as an awesome opportunity to travel around the world, meet new people and learn about new cultures. I think what I am most excited about is that you always have your own guide (who is your host in most cases) and that you do not necessarily feel like being a tourist 24/7 but see the new place through the hosts' eyes as a resident.
