ABOUT ME

I am pretty quiet and nice, and maybe especially friendly. Not much of a party animal, though. What I prefer is talking to people, going to new places, trying new foods and activities, and learning about the world. I can usually be counted on to say, "I read about that," at least once a week.

Interests

I love water sports. I kayak, but also swim, fish, boat, and enjoy chilling out in a water-adjacent location. I am pretty into yoga, and enjoy learning the names of poses as well as getting into new poses. I run, as well, but am not athletic by any stretch of the imagination.

I love to eat new foods and think about how they are made and what ingredients make them awesome.

Finally, I am a voracious reader. Books, newspapers, magazines, I inhale information like a starving person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I visited a 14th century wooden church in Romania, and although there were years of smoke obscuring the paintings, the structure is still standing, and the architectural details achieved with carving are pretty incredible.

Falling Waters was also much cooler than I had anticipated. I thought it'd be similar in person to the tons of pictures I had seen, but Wright's command of space is incredible. He manipulates your feelings using architecture in a way that is just remarkable.
