I'm a special ed teacher in San Diego, CA and I've lived here since 2001. I've been working in education since 2005. I love what I do but it's definitely hard work so I enjoy getting out on the weekends, spending time with friends and being my free spirited self. My personality is outgoing, vibrant, authentic and kind. I try to act with integrity and treat others the way I want to be treated. I believe in karma and the cliche that "what goes around comes around".
I'm about to embark on an exciting adventure: I'm applying for jobs to live overseas and teach internationally! This is a life long dream of mine (to live overseas) and the time is right for me to finally pursue it, and make it happen! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm going to San Francisco next week for an international teaching Job Fair. It's near the SF airport. Some extended family on my brother-in-law's side had promised me a free place to stay in Oakland, but yesterday I was told they are going to be out of town and so I have no place to stay now :( I need somewhere to stay for free since I'm on a budget for this trip. I need somewhere to literally sleep and shower ;) on Thursday night Feb 11 and Friday night Feb 12; I'll be at the job fair all day Saturday.
