ABOUT ME

I'm a very upbeat, social person. I'm always looking for the human connection. I have a background in theater, but have been a visual artist for many years; what the heck does that mean? I guess it means I express myself both visually and verbally. Good sense of humor. Often full of glee. I am considerate and a good house guest, happy to join in with cooking. And drinking. I love a good story. I love traveling, but don't like to do it alone. It's nice to have dinner with someone and talk. Eating alone sucks. Just sayin', is all.

Surfed a couple of times in New England, and surfed in Greece once. I've hosted some lovely people from the U.S, Canada and China.

Love, love, love art museums, culture, travel. Cat person, although dogs are OK too. . . the nice ones. I am a web designer and developer, but have done (and sold) oil paintings (mostly landscapes) for years. I learned to cook in Greece when I lived there as a teenager, so I cook a lot of that kind of food. Lebanese food too. I love a glass of red wine in the evening. I like to draw, but don't do enough of it. I appreciate artistic people a lot. I think the creative process is fascinating. I think language is fascinating. Love music, but not loud. Grew up hearing opera. Love classical, love world music, but listen to other kinds as well.

Night swimming in the Corinthian Gulf and the Caribbean: gotta love that phosphorescent plankton! It's like fairy dust. Cool!

Arriving at our beautiful arts-and-crafts style vacation house in Donegal, Ireland. So beautiful. . . and we got there alive!
