CURRENT MISSION

Create temples and portals with my art in a playful and colorful way. I weave interdimensional tapestries, sometimes for exhibitions and for conscious festivals. Right now I am healing my hand after surgery and learning a lot along the way.

ABOUT ME

I founded the artist movement Textile Hunters, based in Amsterdam and a studio called State of Play. This studio is a temple that evokes the inner playful state and is also a political free state where playfulness is the tie that bonds. I collect and recycle discarded textiles and create hammocks, nets, dreamcatchers, playscapes and other portals with it.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favorite film by far is Jodorowski's Poesía sin fin. Other films I love are La danza de la realidad, Holy Mountain, Alamar, the song of the sea and Dreams by Akira Kurosawa.
Books, i am a spiritual esoteric nerd, totaly into Marie Kondo, now reading Joe Dispenza (everything) and Philip Shepherd's Radical Wholeness and Braiding with Sweetgrass.
