ABOUT ME

My name is Caroline, and I'm studying Social Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh. I was born and grew up along the beach in the suburbs of Sydney, Australia ... not sure how i ended up studying in Scotland, but damnn its been a great!! The world is so much closer.

I just try to enjoy it as it comes.

Interessi

I am interested in the operation of modern societies and the impact of technology on people's lives. Being able to travel has been fantastic because I can see this first hand. A big part of travelling for me is talking to local people and finding out about how the city actually works .... i have little interest for monuments although this might be because of my lack of historical knowledge.

Musica, film e libri

Music: on high rotation are the strokes, the smiths, the love language, mgmt. Film: eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, the last picture show. Books: the tin drum, the catcher in the rye

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

travelled to a tiny town in Peru to help rebuild houses after an earthquake. ... to say the least: it was a fantastic experience.

although lately i've come to learn that the quote "the greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return." might just have something to it :)
