ABOUT ME

I would like to describe myself as an easy going person. I'm outgoing and inviting to conversations. I enjoy meeting new people from all around the world, listening to their (yours!) life stories and talk about everything there is to talk about. I love to learn and get new life experiences because it makes me grow and develop as a person.
I am a student at the moment at Uppsala University, finishing my master in Pharmaceutical Science. I'm fluent in Swedish and English, learnt the basics of French in school. Now I'€™m learning a little of everything wherever I go ^^
Personality? I would say outgoing, open-minded, talkative, patient, sympathic. I love a good laugh, hanging out with friends, spending time with my family, listening to music, to travel (and a lot more). I also love being creative (even though I might not be an artist haha). Dancing, I love dancning. I can't stand still if I hear music, event if it's just in my head.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm up for meeting new people and I hope to be able to host someone in my city, since it gives such a different experience living in someones home than in a hotel or a hostel. Couchsurfing is a great idea and I also hope I'm going to be able to try it myself someday.

Interests

Dancing. Dances I tried so far: salsa, bachata, merengue, dancehall, bugg, lindy hop, boogie woogie, authentic jazz, zouk, argentinian tango. Otherwise: finding and listening to music i like, adventures, travelling, trying something new, to be creative, sports, meeting new people. To fulfill dreams.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music. Can't live without it. I listen to a lot of different music styles and what I listen to often depend on what mood I'm in at the moment and what I'm about to do. If you have a Spotify account, you can see the music I listen to here:

Movies. I like when a movie affects me, when it brings thoughts, feelings and/or questions for discussion. Age of the production doesn'€™t matter and it can be of any film category (but most often drama, comedy, thriller, sci-fi or adventure). (And I never watch a horror by myself..).

Books. I would love to read more, especially poetry, but at the moment i'm focusing on the course literature. When I do read fictions it's often classics. I like the idea of audio books when you find a reader that suits you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Brazil in the summer last year (2013) for the first time to meet relatives that lives there. We went out horseback riding in the Brazilian cerrado (savanna) during my stay in Brasilia, it was amazing! I have now realised that the best way to discover nature is on a horseback.
