I love traveling, reading, cooking, exploring, and hiking. Have been trying to travel more and learn more languages. Currently working in theater, as a gardener, and as an artist's model. I love to bake, play with my cat, run around in the woods, and watch movies and theater.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - indie, classical, blues, jazz. Anything I can move around to, and anything I can listen to while cooking in the kitchen.
Books - anything fiction, definitely Harry Potter, and historical fiction. Books I have read recently include Station Eleven, Pachinko, Gourmet Rhapsody, The Shipping News, and Brooklyn (all fiction, some historical).
Movies - It would be so hard to name my favorites! I love movies, and I've loved almost every movie I have watched. Sometimes I prefer historical dramas, sometimes mysteries, sometime comedy. It just depends on what I am in the mood for!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked three volcanoes in less than 3 months while living in Ecuador. It was really hard because I wasn't used to the altitude, but it was a good challenge and the views and experience were worth the difficulty.

Teach, Learn, Share

Knitting! Vegan/vegetarian cooking and baking! Easy carpentry projects! I especially love to cook by myself and with other people - I really enjoy finding the ingredients, figuring out what to do with them, making something, and sharing it with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food, place to sleep, can show guests the local area. And if you need a cat to play with during your adventures, I have a stand-offish but very kind and charming black cat who secretly loves people.
