CURRENT MISSION

Wanted to experience something different, my sister and I decided to cross the world and travel in Australia for 9 months.

ABOUT ME

I'm 27 years old and before I reach 30 I wanted to obtain a working holiday visa in Australia. I worked for Fairmont hotels and resorts in different positions in Quebec and Banff, Canada. I'm lifeguard since I was 16 years old. It use to be my student job but time to time, I still pickup shifts so it's keeping me in the loop.

I love traveling, as everyone probably on Couchsurfing.
I'm not allergic to any kind of food but I can't tolerate the smell of smoke.

I'm a easy going person and I like things to stay simple. I don't drink to much but a glass of wine with good company is always welcome!

PHILOSOPHY

Time is money! It's why every single moment in life should be exciting and special. Don't waste your time with people who are not worth it and when you are getting bored in a job or a city, move on, leave everything behind, for a moment or forever and try something different, something out of your comfort zone. That way, every penny will be well invested!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm traveling around Australia until May 2014. In the future, I would like to host someone in my hometown, Quebec city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have any experience in couch surfing so far… After working in five starts hotels, I decided to travel in Hostels and I really like it. Now it's time for the next step, meet great people and experienced some couch surfing.

Interests

I love walking. When I travel I walked pretty much anywhere I can. Coming from Canada, I obviously like to ski. Over the summer, I can enjoy a sunny day by playing in the water. I like to swim, water ski as well as relax by the pool or the beach.
I don't go out that often but I like trying local's beer and wine in a pub.
I'm not a big fan of museum, so when I'm traveling, I rather be outside, doing a day trip excursion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a 4X4(SUV) challenge, girls only, in Morocco Desert in 2011, Trophée Roses des sables. 10 days in the Desert finding your way with a compass and a road book. I grown a lot form that trip!
