Well, I'm a student, currently hovering between Sixth Form and University, and I suppose I would say I'm quite academic really. I certainly enjoy acquiring new knowledge; tend to be somewhat excitable if something catches my interest and I can be rather talkative, once I get started...

I'm still living with my parents at the moment, so I'm afraid I'm just surfing.

I feel my tastes are somewhat underdeveloped, but I have recently begun to take an increasing interest in European cinema, as I enjoy the different perspectives offered compared to English-language films (clichéd as that sounds!). Good Bye, Lenin! and Au Revoir Les Enfants are probably particular favourites.
Music-wise, I tend to go through phases, but Queen, Muse and the Beatles are fairly constant. And I tell myself that listening to Die Ärzte improves my German. Also Yann Tiersen, Tchaikovsky; bit of a mixture really...
As aforementioned I enjoy detective fiction, and also popular science books as light reading. One of my main hopes for university is to get round to reading more again!
