ABOUT ME

I'm 24 years old, I study Social Sciences as bachelor and I live in Belo Horizonte since 4 years.

I love to go to bars and stay there drinking and chatting for long hours. Yes, I'm more the "drink and chat" type than the "drink and dance" one :P (however, if you know how to dance and would like to teach me, I'm completely open for that! :P)

Pop music is not one of my favorites, so don't expect to see me in clubs. I prefer outdoor cultural events, with live music, art and political discussions altogether - and, luckily, here in BH we have plenty of them :)

I also like literature, movies and cycling. I love travelling but I wish I was able to do this more often.

I spent the second semester of 2013 living in Amsterdam as an exchange student. I loved the experience to live in a cosmopolitan environment, so I deeply wish to continue meeting people from different countries here in BH.
But, of course, Brazilians are also welcome in my couch. I love meeting people in general :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted twice in Belo Horizonte and surfed three time when I was living in Europe. I also joined some Couchsurfing events in the cities I visited.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just have nice experiences while surfing, hosting or attending events on CS! I recommend it to every person who would like to know a place beyond the regular touristic experience.

I don't like to feel that I'm consuming tourism when I'm in a trip, so Couchsurfing has been my refugee from this position. It can make traveling as an opportunity to meet people and different cultures while visiting places, which I think it's pretty amazing :)

兴趣

As a Social Sciences student, my life is impregnated by academic (but also personal) interests, like urban studies, public spaces, homelessness, urban struggle, cultures and anthropology.

But I LOVE music, specially live concerts and I used to play piano (I had to quit it after moving from my parent's house and not being able to carry the piano with me)

I also love hearing life stories, wandering around, biking, reading, drinking & chatting, eating my grandmas' food.

I am passionate for Brazilian music and I also like to know traditional music from other countries. I like listening blues, jazz, classic rock and every good and creative music as well

For books, I would say Tóstoi, Dostoyewsky, Jorge Luis Borges, Gabriel García Marquez, Fernando Pessoa, Manoel de Barros, Cora Coralina, Adelia Prado, Hilda Hilst, Manoel Bandeira.

When concerning about movies, I have a "thing" with Win Wenders and some of Werzog's works, I just love them
