ABOUT ME

Me me me... um, play in a few samba groups in the UK, like to be quite active, I've recently started rock climbing - there's a really great indoor climbing centre just down the road from me! I've also started capoeira which is brilliant but difficult! I love a pint (or 4...) and a good natter, like going out and love love love going to gigs and festivals. I guess that's about it...?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few people so far and also had the chance to meet up with a couple of people for coffee/drinks in Birmingham which was really fun! I'm hoping to do some couch surfing when I'm in Denmark in June and see things from the other side :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a couple of couch surfers now and met another one who was staying with friends and I must say I love this website. I think it's really great meeting people from all over the place. It's fun showing them around where I live and the only word to describe the people I've met so far is 'lovely'!!!!

Can't wait until I can get away and visit/be hosted by some other couch surfers!

Love love love Brazilian music!!!! Samba, pagode, maracatu, anything really. It's all happy music.

Read a lot of novels and I mainly watch whatever is on BBC iplayer or in the cinema as I don't own a television (but I really love a good horror film!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I opened West Holts stage at Glastonbury music festival with the lead singer from Monobloco!!!!

I'm up for experiencing and learning pretty much anything. The more the better! In return I can teach what I know about playing music - mainly world music and samba to people.
