Hello dear travelers!

I am Caroline, I am half Dutch half German, born and raised in the Netherlands. I have lived in India, Italy and Spain for a while, studied Spanish literature at the University of Amsterdam and worked the past two years at a women rights organization in Oaxaca, Mexico.
Anyway, I think I am quite an easy going person; I love to dance, do theatre, listen to music, laugh all night long and discuss the finer points of life, the universe and everything else. Usually all at once! So, come over if you are anywhere near and are remotely interested in arts, politics, religion or something else!! :)

I like listening to Aretha Franklin, dance to Fleedwood Mac, dream away with Devendra Banhart or jump around on the Kongos. But also the LP's from the '60 and '70, live balkan beats, folk, and latin cumbias I enjoy a looooooot!

As for books I could really recommend Roberto Bolaño, Eduardo Galeano, Octavio Paz, Mario Benedetti, Julio Cortázar...

I like the occasional visits to an art-house cinema
