About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travelling as much as I can and see what the world has reserve to myself.
ABOUT ME
I am a very easy-going person and openminded as well. I don't need much to be satisfied, and I like living off the grid. I'm originally from Québec (east of Canada) but I am working in British-Colombia (extrem west of Canada) I haven't had a "home" for 2 years now, so I can concentrate on travelling and avoiding the hard winter in Québec. I use to pick fruit for living, while sleeping in a tent, but this summer I will be trying tree planting.
Last year I traveled Mexico with workaway, wich is a kind of woofing website, and I enjoy it a lot, from permaculture, to an hostel, to an eco-village, I enjoyed every experience as different they are.
I am also a good hitchhiker, I met very nice people travelling that way, It gave me hope in hummanity, wich I had lost for a while. I crossed the Canada two times hitchiking ( from Québec to BC wich is approx. 4800 km ) and also did all the south-east of Mexico hitchiking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I chose couchsurfing because its a different way to travel and also give the opportunity to meet awesome local people that can show us cities as they are, not how tourists see them... I dont ask nothing special from you exept a place to sleep and a nice time.
Interests
I am interest to discover the world before it collapses ;)

I LOVE cinema, many kind of movies but I'm not a blockbuster lover. I like animation movies a lot, and I also enjoy almost every movies from the directors Tarantino, Rodriguez, Tim Burton and Sophia Coppola.
I also like reading, and I prefer fantastic stories. My favorite book is definitely Les coloriés by Alexandre Jardin. That book change help me change my perception of the world.
About music, difficult to tell you what I like exactly. As cinema, Iove many artist but I'm not the pop music kind. I'm a fan of MGMT, Pink Floyd, Elvis, Babylon Circus, The casualities, Bob Marley, Les colocs, Etta James, Gorillaz, Phantogram, Jean Leloup, Johnny Cash, Manu Chao, Asaf Avidan and the Mojos, Nirvana, etc. That is just some exemples. Music always depends on my mood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm a cherry picker, a hardworker, and thats why I can avoid my country while it's way colder dans your freezer. Amazing eh?!
During my trip in mexico I've been on a hike to toluca volcano with friends. In fact, we climbed it, without any experiences, equipement or at least information about climbing. It was stupid but amazing, danger of death won't stop me.
Teach, Learn, Share
For sure I wanna learn about others countries, other cultures, farming, permaculture, self-suffiency. I wanna know how other people are living (off teh grid or not).I wanna see how life is outside Canada, how different it is... And as I went to mexico last year, and now spain, I'm trying to learn some spanish. I'm getting better but talking with people will help me learning faster. I will also be exciting about sharing with my experiences.
And, I LOVE FOOD. So, I am also very excited about tasting new food, local food. =)
