CURRENT MISSION

We are traveling the world, simple as that! Life long dream that we both have had and the time has finally come! Trying to meet new people with different experiences, see the world and hope make a positive impact on it :)

ABOUT ME

Whatcha wanna know? Rex and I have been dating for about 3 years now and have, after some major unexpected life changes, finally gotten the nerve to go for our dream trip! Since our first date, we have spoken about going around the world and here we are. Finally doing it.

We doing a trip for 8 months and have already come to terms with the fact that we this will probably not be our last extended trip. So much to see in such little time. We are aiming for quality vrs. quantity but that is hard when everything looks amazing.
We leave Jan 2014 to south america, are heading west to OZ -> Dubai --> Indo ->South East Asia -> Nepal -> Europe.

Together we have traveled quite a bit and if you add in our own journeys we have covered a bit of ground. Surf trips to central america, Indo, backpacking europe, camping a lot of western USA (esp. national parks), hiking grand canyon on our 2nd date, surfing alaska....we have done a little bit of everything when it comes to adventure stuff...

Rex - Surfed Alaska

Caro - herded 150 horses/mules for 5 days in the Sierra's of California.

Together - hiked to bottom grand canyon via Kaibab trail (up and down, which isn't recommended) in less than 6 hours...not sure if this is amazing or really just shows our stupidity...it was our second date....but we survived....barely :)

Rex is an amazing surf instructor, as well as just an amazing human soul. always seems to have the right thing to say at the right time to the right person. He has an ability to speak to people and always level with them. It amazes me every day. He is also an EMT or Sanitater as well as a trained lifeguard.
Myself - i am a teacher in training for pilates, a horse trainer ( training horses as well as kids). i have been a designer for over 8 years. I am fluid in german as well as english and love teaching and being taught new things.
We both would love to learn spanish and experience anything new.
Rex would love to learn german ( couples teaching each other is tricky ;-)) and i would love to learn French as well.
