Pair of queers road tripping around the country this summer. We're mainly camping and hiking as we go, but would love to meet locals and spend a few days in cities as we're passing through!

About us:

Jack (Carolyn) [they/them]: Grew up in New Jersey, and lived in Philadelphia for the past three years. Loves bikes and their cat (though sadly she is not along for the trip). Often found talking about feminism and queer theory, dancing in the car, and trying to not look too pathetic while melting in the southern heat.

Kali [she/her]: Originally from SoCal. Grew up a mile from the beach believing that burritos on Shabbat was a Jewish tradition. Lived in Philadelphia for the past eight years and is SO excited to finally be experiencing other parts of the country. A die-hard rugby fan and former player who is soon to be tackling engineering grad school.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Would love to meet locals and make friends as we go, and occasionally have a place to crash that isn't our tent.

We're absolutely into hanging out with hosts, but also happy to self-direct and stay unobtrusive as preferred.

Teach, Learn, Share

We're traveling with a banjo and ukelele. Neither of us can play either instrument but we live in hope! If you'd like to add us to your band for a night or teach us a tune, we'd be happy to break them out.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to cook meals while we're there! We make a MEAN veggie chili.
