ABOUT ME

We are a young, easy going, fun-loving couple. We have been together for over two years and have decided to travel the world for a year! Our friends would describe us as laid-back, social, and active. We strive to live life to the fullest and are looking forward to meeting some fun couchsurfers.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are a little bit new to Couchsurfing and have surfed with a couple of wonderful hosts. We have not had the privilege of hosting yet but plan to once we return to our home. We sometimes just like to meet up for coffee/tea or wine/beer too. We are always hoping to practice Spanish.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had a great experience so far. Everyone we have met through CS is so nice and giving! It is so beautiful and inspiring to meet so many people who will just open up their homes to you and expect nothing in return, except to meet new people. It's really amazing.

All music! Most movies! Some favorites- The Breakfast Club, V for Vendetta, Shelter (surf documentary), Volver, Life of Pi. We read a lot as well. Jon is really into books by Joseph Campbell. Carolyn enjoys books by Jumpa Lahiri, Paulo Coelho, and so many more. Fiction, non-fiction, philosophy, you name it!

We would love to learn about you, your community and your culture. If you speak Spanish, we'd love to practice that too! But if you are busy, that is no problem at all! We are very independent and like exploring new places on our own too. We basically just want to get to know nice people and learn about the place we are in. All we expect from hosts and surfers is respect, a good attitude about life, and basic cleanliness :) - and of course you can expect the same from us!

Mainly good conversation and we are very respectable and easy going. Would be happy to help with cooking, cleaning, and anything you need! Carolyn is learning to knit and can help teach you if you are interested. Jon plays the guitar and can serenade you...only if you want haha! We also like practicing "zen art"- pretty doodling. Hmm, what else? Friendship :)
