ABOUT ME

I'm easy going, independent, and I love to meet the locals when I travel and learn how they enjoy where they live. I completely love the idea of this website -- very old school internet (much like craigslist) in concept. I like the idea of helping fellow travelers on a budget because people have been so friendly and helpful to me in the past and I want to pay it forward. If you want to know about the not so beaten path in Dallas, the great restaurants at a great price, bike community stuff, and any other friendly advice, I can help you!

I enjoy meeting interesting people. I have a wide range of interests from country dancing to NPR, international travel to exploring locavore eats, bicycle touring to championing a good cause.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Why just one? I've ...Scared a bear hiking alone in Yosemite Natl. Forest. Won a few Emmys. Edited a documentary that was in SXSW. Visited the Church of the Nativity, the Mosque of Mohammad Ali in Cairo, the Parthenon, the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx all in one trip (and traveled with 7 buses of lesbians under armed escort! I was with an Olivia Cruise). Spent a night out at sea and dove 7 times in the great barrier reef near Australia. Camped on Gotland island off of Sweden.
