I'm a respectful houseguest, an easy communicator, and happy travelling independently or in company. I love exploring new places, taking pictures and memories. I love a good laugh, am adaptable, and usually manage to get by despite my occasional completely unpredictable lack of common sense.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am so happy to see how huge this site is! I believe there are more similarities in the people of this world than differences, but I LOVE THE DIFFERENCES. I'm eager to meet new people and explore new places, and if I can do anything for the reputation of my country in the meantime, that would be a bonus.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept on many couches in my life, but have yet to have an official CouchSurfing experience. Currently, I'm spending most of the summer on a fold-out couch in the living room of one of my oldest friends, in Athens, Greece.

Interests

Reading, writing, photography, visiting museums, long walks, massage, herbal medicine, bicycling, cooking, travel, talking late into the evening about a variety of subjects until eventually all parties make their way to bed figuring they "might as well try to get SOME sleep".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As an 8 year old I once stalked away from my brother out of anger in a train station in Tokyo and found my own way back to the ryokan in a city I'd only lived in for a couple of weeks. Those skills have never stopped coming in handy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a certified massage therapist, and can certainly share those skills. I've studied herbal medicines, bartending, child development, too.
