ABOUT ME

I love to travel, to discuss with people, I love trance music, Bon Jovi and TV series. I am currently trying to watch some good movies, as so far I've been choosing all the wrong ones. I am passionate about cities and new cultures, new ideas and fresh mentalities. I am currently studying in Dortmund as an Erasmus student.

Update: finishing up my second Erasmus in Padova, Italy. Looking forward to returning to England with my best friend and meet many of you wonderful people here on Couchsurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

I am in love with cities I've never seen and people I've never met :). Mainly what we have to make sure in life is that we are happy and we make the most out of everything.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am living in student accommodation in Italy, so I have no couch :)
Hopefully dorms in Leeds will be more flexible and I might be able to participate more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've mainly stayed with friends and family while travelling, but I am looking forward to new experiences with CS.

Interests

Travelling, discussing, I like taking photos but I suck at it :), music, movies, series, books, decorating walls :), going out and having fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

This part is going to be interesting because there are so many. Movies: favourite movies: Cruel Intentions 1, Sweet November and The Dark Knight. But these are just 0.1 % of the movies I've seen and probably liked. Books: I've read many Romanian books for school and not only, I've also enjoyed Paulo Coelho - Eleven Minutes, but I am also planning on reading many good books from now on (If you have any suggestions, please send me a message). Right now I am reading the Alchemist and Eckhart Tolle - The power of now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Haven't done anything very special, which is why this is the start of my amazing/special experiences. I've seen many beautiful places, and met some amazing people, which is special enough.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn more how to enjoy life and find optimism and positiveness in every aspect. I can share my experience regarding moving home quite a lot for studying and how to make this experience easier. (I've moved from Romania to start my degree, then, after 2 years of living in the UK, I had to move for 4 months in Germany. After this I will have to move to Italy for a year and then back to the UK for my final year. I do not plan on staying in the UK, but I plan on moving to the US, so here's another residential change :)) )
