ABOUT ME

I am an easy going, sociable 25 year old male, I love meeting new people even its just to have a chat, I'm pretty much up to doing anything and always willing to help out. I have been working in schools for the past few years as a teaching assistant and I have just moved to South Korea to teach English.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't really have a personal philosophy when it comes to it, though I do believe in always trying to learn new things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just started hosting people in the beautiful city of Gyeongju. I love exploring the area, hiking and also socialising, so if you are up for any of those I will be a happy host and wanting to be involved, work permitting! I have been to a lot of places but even being 3 months haven't the full extent of temples and beautiful places to visit!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't really couch surfed myself properly myself, however my sister had such a great experience doing it I felt I could host people and get to meet lots of amazing people that i should host. I have only hosted a couple of people, but i have either been to new places or got a better understanding of the local history and have done things I may not have done that i have enjoyed the company of everyone i have hosted so far. I love to meet new people and I am always up for doing something new :)

Interests

I enjoy meeting up with friends, exploring new places and I love to cycle, it also being my main mode of transport.
I used to play drums, though I am incredibly out of practice and I enjoy reading, though I prefer to have and actual book in my hand, rather than on a screen, so have not been reading as much recently.
I play board games whenever I find someone else who is interested in playing, however being in Korea I only have a couple of card games to play at the moment!
I play a few PC games, but mainly online with my friends from the UK to keep in touch.
I really enjoy going camping, and when the weather picks up in Korea I will be buying a tent and cycling/camping around different parts of Korea.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite genre of books is fantasy, but I am always keen to get new suggestions of books to read!

I like a whole variety of movies/TV, though more often than not I am just streaming a random series on Netflix.

Generally I listen to whatever is on the radio, though if i were to pick some genre's I am probably more into Indie/Rock/Alternative.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sky diving is probably the most amazing thing i've done and well worth the money!
