Hello! I recently finished my Peace Corps service in Paraguay and am traveling my way through South America back to the States. I love sharing parts of Paraguayan culture with curious people and am always up for an engaging conversation.

In Asunción, Paraguay I worked with a local NGO that provided access to health services to sex workers. Through this work I was able to facilitate medical check-ups for the women that included pap-smears and testing for sexually transmitted diseases. I also co-facilitated many different educational workshops on topics related to sexual reproductive health and wellbeing.

En Asunción, Paraguay trabajé por un año con una ONG local que provee acceso a servicios de salud para trabajadoras sexuales. A través de este trabajo tuve la oportunidad de facilitar chequeos médicos para las mujeres trabajadoras que incluyeron exámenes de papanicolau y testeos para enfermedades transmitidas sexualmente. Otra gran parte de mi trabajo con esta organización fue la facilitación de charlas educativas relacionadas al bienestar, salud mental y salud sexual reproductiva.

First and foremost, yerba mate from Paraguay, in the form of terere (cold) and mate (hot). Other than that, good conversation and good eats. As a vegetarian I love cooking up delicious and healthy food.

Primeramente, yerba mate de Paraguay, en la forma de terere (agua fría) y mate (agua caliente). Aparte de eso, buena conversación y mi destreza en hacer comidas ricas. Como una vegetariana, me encanta cocinar comida deliciosa y sana.
