Hey guys! My name is Carrie and I was born and raised in Canada's capital city of Ottawa. I studied at University of Guelph before heading out to Jasper, Alberta for a job. This sparked a travelling fire that has fuelled my adventures for the last two years. I worked and travelled through Australia all of 2016 and have been to New Zealand, Vietnam and Thailand so far this year. I am an outgoing and positive person who loves the outdoors and exploring! I have a passion for music - from discovering new bands, to going to live shows and playing a bit myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard incredible things about couch surfing from fellow travelers! I'm the kind of person who loves to get off the beaten trail, and for me that means meeting local people to fully immerse myself in a community/culture. I would love the opportunity to stay with hosts while travelling, and I look forward to using couch surfing to be a host in the future or help fellow traveller gather genuine experiences.
