About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore, appreciate, and create.
ABOUT ME
I am a laid back, curious digital artist and graphic design college professor who loves to travel and absorb history and culture. To live with, I am a non-smoker, only occasionally have a drink, very quiet and tidy. I love animals, especially cats and horses.
PHILOSOPHY
Be kind. Be honest. Listen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I've been hosted three times and look forward to doing it again! When I have a more permanent location, I look forward to being a host myself. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I CouchSurfed for the first time in November 2011 in Northern Ireland, and it was a wonderful experience! I had fantastic times in York, England and Reykjavik, Iceland in early 2012 as well. In 2017 I had another fantastic experience in Iceland (Akureyri).

Music, Movies, and Books
Humor! I'm a fan of QI, Mitchell and Webb, Parks and Rec, Arrested Development, and 30 Rock; and read random novels I find in thrift stores and libraries that look interesting. I also love genealogy and have watched countless episodes of Who Do You Think You Are, loving to hear stories of family trees and tracking them through and with history.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On my first CouchSurfing experience, I hiked in the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland. It was the most beautiful place I've ever been. I went alone, but never felt lonely with the granite, wind, sun, and peat.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to share travel stories and photos, photography skills, or maybe some design.
